Ljubica Stojanović, piano
Performing regularly at the Barbican Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, and Berlin Philharmonia, Ljubica’s sound is described as glowing, and her playing is characterized by spontaneity in risk-taking.
A Graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and Universität der Künste in Berlin, Ljubica is an international soloist and chamber musician with over 20 competitions to her name.
Among her favorite collaborations have been performances with Henning Kraggerud, Tamara Stefanovich, Wrocław Philharmonia, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Nicholas Daniel, and Andrew Marriner as well as regular appearances on BBC Radio 3.
Ljubica’s passions are arranging, composing, improvising, and diving into the depths of music from every perspective. Enjoying folk, jazz, and other genres equally, Ljubica’s idea of music being one entity is at the very heart of her playing and musicianship.
Ljubica would like to thank Christian Petersen for his ongoing support, knowledge, and inspiration.
